Perth Glory travel to face Adelaide United on Friday night with the opportunity to jump the Reds and surge into the top half of the A-League table.
Richard Garcia’s side are currently seventh after four games; Perth won the last of their three successive games in Victoria against Melbourne Victory in Matchweek 6, injecting plenty of positivity into the Western Australian outfit as they travel to face the Reds.
Adelaide meanwhile return to Coopers Stadium to host Perth licking their wounds, after a disappointing 3-1 defeat to Brisbane Roar last time out.
Both sides boast a number of impressive young prospects flourishing in the league this season to date. The likes of Reds striker Mohamed Toure and midfielder Louis D’Arrigo have caught the eye with their early form, while Perth’s Nick D’Agostino and Carlo Armiento have quickly emerged as two of the more electric attackers league-wide.
It’s the second meeting between the two sides this season, after Adelaide travelled to Perth in Matchweek 4 to be dispatched 5-3 by the goal-hungry Glory.
