Canberra United and Sydney FC will both have aims on returning to the winner’s circle when they meet in a crucial Westfield W-League Round 5 clash on Sunday.
Both teams are coming off defeats last weekend and, sitting sixth and seventh respectively on the ladder, three points is almost a must even this early in the campaign.

Canberra United welcome back South Africa international Refiloe Jane who returns from the African Cup of Nations.
While Sydney FC’s Amy Harrison is part of the squad, almost 11 months to the day since she ruptured the ACL and MCL in her left knee against Newcastle Jets in January.
There could be as many as six Westfield Matildas in action at McKellar Park, meaning there will be plenty of quality on show in what is historically a high-scoring fixture.
On that note, there have been 15 goals scored in the last three meetings between United and the Sky Blues.
Whichever side takes their chances in front of goal on Sunday afternoon might just come out on top and claim a vital victory.
