Canberra United will go into Sunday’s Westfield W-League clash against Perth Glory full of confidence.
Heather Garriock has her side playing an attractive brand of football, shown in a sensational 2-0 win over reigning Westfield W-League champions Melbourne City at McKellar Park in Round 1.
Perhaps more importantly, Canberra looked to be coping well with the loss of Michelle Heyman, with South African duo Refiloe Jane and Rhoda Mulaudzi adding some spark and skill to the side.

Perth, on the other hand, welcome back marquee striker, Sam Kerr. The 25-year-old returns from suspension and will no doubt be raring to go in her first Westfield W-League fixture of the 2018/19 Season.
Perth Glory flew somewhat under the radar during the off-season but almost stole three points in Round 1 against Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium.
The Glory, who were second best for much of the game, only conceded late as Carson Pickett cancelled out Alyssa Mautz’s goal.
Perth looked solid in defence throughout the clash, though, and were capable of making chances of their own, particularly on the counter-attack.
Sunday afternoon’s fixture at Mckellar Park kicks off at 4pm (AEDT).
