Brisbane Roar travel to McKellar Park with the wind in their sails coming off the back of two crucial victories in the Westfield W-League.
The Roar bounced back from their 5-1 loss to Sydney FC with a 4-3 win over Melbourne Victory, followed by a 3-1 win over Western Sydney Wanderers.
That Mel Andreatta’s side have scored eight goals in three games shows they may be finding their form at just the right time.
Brisbane will be bolstered by the return of Katrina Gorry, who sat out Round 8 following her red card against Melbourne Victory in Round 7.

Canberra United, on the other hand, were beaten 3-0 by Melbourne City last time out in a one-sided affair.
Heather Garriock’s side seemed to show once more that they were the real deal following their 2-0 victory over Sydney FC, however that was followed by a disappointing 2-2 draw with Western Sydney.
Canberra will have to be wary of Brisbane’s Allira Toby who has two goals in as many games and could have had a hat-trick against the Wanderers.
Fortunately for Canberra, they are still well and truly in contention for a top four place on eight points, though a win against Brisbane will go a long way to cementing their spot.
Keep an eye out for Ashleigh Sykes who could feature after coming temporarily out of retirement until the end of the season for Canberra.
This game is one of four that will be broadcast live on FOX SPORTS 505, so do yourself a favour and keep your Thursday afternoon free!
