Central Coast fans get their final chance to see the Mariners in action for seven weeks when North Queensland Fury make the trek to Bluetongue Stadium in Gosford on Saturday night.
The surface at Bluetongue Stadium will be relayed after the match meaning the Mariners will not play at Gosford again until November 21.
So far this season the Mariners boast two wins and a draw from their three home games and coach Graham Arnold is confident his team can keep the unbeaten record intact against Fury.
“This is another big game for us, we need three points before we have a big break away from Gosford,” Arnold said.
“We’re playing a good brand of football at home and we want that to continue.”
“The atmosphere at our three home games this year has been great.”
“Hopefully the fans will come out, we want the fans to be the 12th man for us for the rest of the season.”
Arnold is unlikely to make many changes from his side which had a scoreless draw with Gold Coast last start.
One certain change is the inclusion of left midfielder Oliver Bozanic, who has returned to club duty after finishing his Olyroo commitments.
“He gives us plenty of spark down the left, he’ll come back into the starting side,” Arnold confirmed.
Arnold has been delighted with the defensive structure of the team and believes the attacking is coming good.
“With the ball we’ll improve over time,” he said.
“We’ve got the best defence in the league and we’ve got to maintain that.”
