Macarthur FC’s membership program will break new ground for the Hyundai A-League with adult members eligible to vote for and elect two of the seven members of the club’s board of directors, of which three will be female.
It’s an initiative that gives fans an authentic voice and a real say, fulfilling the club’s promise to be a true community focused enterprise where committed supporters can help shape the future of their local team.

The move was revealed during the launch of Macarthur FC’s Foundation Membership program at a gala lunch in Campbelltown.
Another feature of the foundation membership program is the inclusion of a unique, one-off playing shirt that will be worn by the club’s first team during the 2020-21 pre-season schedule, but not beyond.
As well as cementing their place in history for being among the very first fans to join the club, foundation members will secure one of the best value membership products on the market.
At just $95, including the one-off playing shirt, foundation membership is affordably priced to allow as many people as possible to join the club.
Other goodies in the foundation membership pack include a miniature cowbell, lapel pin (or sticker for kids), membership card, lanyard and presentation box.

True to the club’s philosophy of ‘every fan is a hero’, the number one foundation membership shirt will be immediately retired and dedicated in perpetuity to the entire south west community.
Macarthur FC’s Executive Chairman, Rabieh Krayem, declared the club’s foundation membership to be exceptional value for money.
“Our vision is to be known by all as more than a football club. By giving our members the power to elect two people to the club’s board goes a long way to achieving the level of community integration we spoke about during the bid process for our Hyundai A-League licence,” Krayem said.
“It’s the first model of its kind in the competition and we aim to prove that allowing committed supporters to contribute to the club on a deeper level will only make us stronger and more aligned with our fanbase.
“We’ve kept our foundation membership product below a hundred dollars to make it accessible and affordable to as many people as possible as we build our presence in the region.”
Macarthur FC Foundation Memberships go on sale from Friday 1 November 2019.
