On Sunday, August 28 the Australia Cup quarter-finals begin.
Five A-Leagues clubs are still in the running for the 2022 title as the final eight clubs progress toward the pointy end of the tournament; the quarter-finals will run from August 28-31, with an all-NPL battle between Peninsula Power FC and Sydney United 58 FC kicking off the action at AJ Kelly Park.
The remaining three fixtures in the final eight will then take place concurrently on August 31.
Oakleigh Cannons FC welcome Sydney FC to Jack Edwards Reserve, Adelaide united take on Brisbane Roar at ServiceFM Stadium and Wellington Phoenix travel to face Macarthur FC at Campbelltown Stadium.
The semi-final draw will then take place LIVE on 10Play following the coverage of Oakleigh v Sydney FC, with the penultimate round of the tournament set to take place between September 10-14.
With the winner of the Australia Cup granted one of Australia’s slots in the group stage of the AFC Cup in 2023-24, the stakes are rising as the final eight teams prepare to battle it out in the quarter-finals.
