Australians were front and centre of action this weekend in the Hyundai A-League with Andrew Nabbout, who is set to join Urawa Red Diamonds, leading the way.
Here’s five Aussies who caught our eye this weekend in our Local Aussies wrap.
ANDREW NABBOUT
Could his stunning winner against Sydney FC confirm a spot in the Caltex Socceroos’ next squad?
Who knows but his goal and overall display caught the eye in front of a massive crowd in Newcastle.
And it’s not a one-off. The livewire striker won February’s goal of the month after his equally stunning strike against Wanderers.
The 25-year-old now has 10 goals and seven assists this season, which is more than any other Australian. It puts him outright fifth on the golden boot ladder behind Bobo, Ross McCormack, Adrian Mierzejewski and Oriol Riera.

DIMI PETRATOS
The perfect foil for Nabbout. Kept his nerve to convert the opener from the spot at McDonald Jones Stadium and would have a delightful second if not for the post.
Like Nabbout, he may be close to a Caltex Socceroos call-up and this performance would not have done his chances any harm.
Would the Jets have the depth to cover both players?

DANIEL ARZANI
Showed yet again why he’s the most talked-about young footballer in the league.
In the heat of a derby, he gave Victory plenty to think about. The only concern is a very bad cramp which saw him subbed off.
We hope he’s okay after what looked like a “bubble cramp”.

DINO DJULBIC
Kept his side level with a goal-line clearance in the first half and later did what was needed with the gloves. What more can you ask of the big defender?

JOSH RISDON
A top all-round display from the Wanderers right-back, who created a game-high four chances against his former club.
More importantly, given the right back position in the national team, he reminded the national coach of what he brings to the role.
The best of the action from our 1-1 draw with @wswanderersfc at Spotless Stadium, including a goalkeeping cameo from @DinoDjulbic (a.k.a. Dino Zoff)…#CREATEDESTINY#WSWvPER
