Some of UK football’s biggest names converged in Cork, Ireland overnight in memory of former Hyundai A-League star Liam Miller.
A star-studded Manchester United XI featuring the likes of Dennis Irwin, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville and Nicky Butt played a Celtic & Republic of Ireland XI in tribute to Miller, who sadly passed away in February this year aged 36 from pancreatic cancer.
The midfielder started his professional career at Celtic before going on to make nine appearances for Manchester United.

Miller arrived on Australian shores in June 2011 with Perth Glory, where he would feature in the 2012 Hyundai A-League Grand Final defeat to Brisbane Roar.
He would go on to make further stints at the Roar and Melbourne City before returning to hometown club Cork City in January 2015.
