The race is on to become the Westfield W-League top-scorer with Sydney FC’s Leena Khamis joining the early pacesetters after her double on the weekend.
Khamis joins Melbourne Victory’s Natasha Dowie and Sam Kerr on two goals after as many rounds, followed by a host of players with a single goal.
It is case of turning back the clock for the veteran striker who was top-scorer in the very first season of the league. Khamis now has 37 goals, fourth on the all-time Westfield W-League list.
