Key stats as Taggart, Glory maintain McDonald Jones Stadium momentum

Adam Taggart and Perth Glory both continued their hot streaks at McDonald Jones Stadium as Newcastle Jets suffered a second straight home loss on Friday night.

  • Glory extended their unbeaten run at McDonald Jones Stadium to 10 games (W6, D4). The last time the Jets have defeated Glory at home was back in the 2011/12 Season, when they won 2-0 in Round 5.

  • Newcastle have lost their last two at home, and three out of the last five at McDonald Jones Stadium.

  • Perth have won their first Hyundai A-League game in New South Wales since they beat Newcastle in March 2016, snapping a 13-game winless run in the state (D4, L9). 

  • Glory attempted 266 passes in the second half, just shy of the team-high 275 they recorded at home to Melbourne City in February.
