Brisbane Roar have continued to put together an impressive looking squad for the Westfield W-League 2018/19 season, with two more key signings announced on Tuesday.
Fan-favourites Hayley Raso and Celeste Boureille have both agreed to return to the club for another season after being key members of the Roar’s rise to a third Premiership last campaign.

“It’s wonderful to have our Portland Thorns duo back with us for season 2018/19,” coach Mel Andreatta told Brisbane’s official website.
“Celeste and Hayley are highly respected and key members of our talented squad.”
Boureille, 24, is a huge addition to Andreatta’s side after taking out the Roar Women’s Player of the Season last campaign and following up with an impressive campaign for the Thorns in 2018.
“After an outstanding NWSL campaign, Celeste goes from strength to strength and will be our midfield general in season 11,” Andreatta continued.
Meanwhile Westfield Matildas star and Queenslander Raso, also 24, will return with her trademark ribbon for a third season in Brisbane orange.
“She is an exciting footballer who I’m sure our fans can’t wait to see out on the park terrorising opposition backlines,” Andreatta said.
The classy duo join the likes of Japanese World Cup winner Yuki Nagasato, Orlando Pride duo Chioma Ubogagu and Carson Pickett, and recently announced re-signings Katrina Gorry and Clare Polkinghorne for Roar’s 2018/19 title assault.
The new Westfield W-League season begins later this month, with Roar opening the campaign at home against Perth Glory at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday, 28 October.
