Melbourne Heart captain Harry Kewell is likely to miss two matches after twisting his right ankle at training on Wednesday.

Kewell was set to return against Western Sydney Wanderers on Friday night at AAMI Park.

Kewell fronted the media this morning after a full week of training and spoke of his eagerness at returning against the Wanderers after recovering from injury and regaining full fitness.

Kewell fell awkwardly on this right ankle during training and this afternoon underwent scans which confirmed there was no structural damage, but the injury was still severe enough to rule him out for at least 14 days.
