Ben Kennedy has been crowned Newcastle Jets Player of the Year.
Kennedy made 24 appearances for the Jets this season and kept five clean sheets in a tremendous individual display, while also making 79 saves.
Jets coach Gary van Egmond said Kennedy was a popular winner of the award.
“Ben deserves to be named Player of the Year and I am really happy for him to win this award,” van Egmond said.
“He was consistent throughout the season, he became more confident in his ability and his hard work at training paid off.”
Fellow goalkeeper Melissa Barbieri was named W-League Player of the Year at the Jets, while youngster Andrew Hoole took out the Youth League award.
