Adelaide United and Algerian midfielder Karim Matmour have mutually agreed to part ways, the club confirmed on Tuesday.
Matmour joined the Reds in August and made 11 appearances for the Club, playing his final match last Friday against Sydney FC at Coopers Stadium.
Matmour has made the decision to return home due to family reasons.
Speaking on Matmour’s departure, United Head Coach, Marco Kurz, said: “We are disappointed to be losing Karim at this time, but thank him for his efforts this season.
“I understand the reasoning behind him leaving and respect his honesty.”
