Jets confirm Birighitti loan to AS Varese

Newcastle Jets have reached an agreement with Italian Serie B team AS Varese for the loan of goalkeeper Mark Birighitti.

Birighitti will travel to Italy today to finalise the loan and will be with AS Varese until the end of June 2015. 

Birighitti remains contracted to the Newcastle Jets for the Hyundai A-League 2015/16 season but the agreement includes an option for the Italian club to purchase the player at the end of the initial loan period. 

The Newcastle Jets wish Mark all the best with this move and the next stage of his career.
