Macarthur Bulls have announced the sale of young gun Jed Drew to an unnamed European club.
The 21-year-old forward will swap the Isuzu UTE A-League for Europe, where Austrian Bundesliga side TSV Hartberg have been tipped to sign Drew amid his breakout season.
A product of the Bulls FC Academy, Drew has taken the league by storm this term with eight goals and seven assists in just 13 appearances for Macarthur in 2024-25.

Since debuting for Macarthur, the Subway Socceroos hopeful has scored 17 goals and supplied 16 assists in 83 games as he becomes the third Bulls player to secure a move abroad in the January transfer window after Oliver Jones (Randers) and Ariath Piol (Real Salt Lake).
“My time at the Bulls has been unbelievable, I’m so grateful for the club giving me a chance and to give me my debut a couple years back was such a good feeling,” said Drew, who has been endorsed for the Socceroos by head coach Mile Sterjovski.

“My favourite memories would be winning the Australia Cup this year and my first A-League goal against the [Central Coast] Mariners.
“I would like to thank Sam and Mile for bringing me into the club. Starting in the NPL side a few years back, I really found my enjoyment for the game again that year.
“Thank you to Anthony [Siciliano] for helping me out when I needed it. It wasn’t the greatest year last year, but the club really made sure I was in a good headspace coming back into the pre-season this year.
“I think the group of players this season have been the best group we’ve had. I’ve made some friends for life, that’s for sure—especially Valere (Germain) and Lachie Rose, even though he has left the club.”
