Isuzu UTE A-League fixture confirmed: Sydney FC vs Auckland FC

Australian Professional Leagues (APL) can confirm the rescheduled Isuzu UTE A-League fixture between Sydney FC and Auckland FC will take place on Tuesday 17 February at Leichhardt Oval, kicking off at 7:00pm AEDT.

The match will mark Sydney FC’s final Isuzu UTE A-League appearance at Leichhardt Oval this season, with the club’s remaining home fixtures to be staged at Allianz Stadium.

“We’re pleased to be able to work with Sydney FC and stadium management to bring this fixture back to Leichhardt Oval in what is set to be one of the most important fixtures of the Isuzu UTE A-League season in the race towards the Isuzu UTE A-League Finals Series and the Premiers’ Plate,” said APL CEO, Steve Rosich.

“The Summer of Football has been a success for the A-Leagues, with our second and third highest attended rounds of the season coming throughout this period, and we’re excited to cap it off with this showpiece fixture in February.”

“We’ve seen a sold out stadium for Brisbane, near back-to-back sell-outs in Adelaide, strong New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day attendances on the Central Coast and in Auckland and a positive resurgence in other key markets showcasing the popularity of the A-Leagues at this time of year and we look forward to a big finish to the season.”

Sydney FC members and ticket holders for the original fixture will be able to access the rearranged match under existing entitlements, with Ticketek offering refunds to those unable to attend the new date.
