Football Federation Australia (FFA) through their partnership with Black Dog Institute has launched a HUB to provide mental health education and support to the grassroots football community and FFA’s employees, national team players, directors and staff.
The HUB on FFA.com.au provides access to the following Black Dog Institute resources:
- Article resources to manage the anxieties associated with COVID-19 and the return to football.
- Personal stories of lived experience written by people who have lived it. Get an insight into the different views of mental health through amazing personal stories.
- Information on how to express your interest to become a volunteer with Black Dog Institute.
The Black Dog Institute is internationally recognised as a pioneer in the identification, prevention and treatment of mental illness, and the promotion of wellbeing. It produces online resources, tools and apps which aim to reduce the incidence of mental illness and empower everyone to live the most mentally healthy lives possible.
