Defender Avraam Papadopoulos twice punished substandard Melbourne City defending to net a brace in his side’s 3-1 victory at Suncorp Stadium.

SKY BLUES BOUNCE BACK
The Jets suffered their first loss of the season, going down 2-1 to Sydney FC on a wet Saturday night at Allianz Stadium.
On the occasion of skipper Alex Brosque’s 200th Hyundai A-League appearance, the Sky Blues went ahead after just five minutes through Milos Ninkovic.
Jets ‘keeper Jack Duncan gifted Bobo a second after the break, with Dimi Petratos pulling one back for the visitors after 65 minutes.
VICTORY FIND FORM OUT WEST
Melbourne Victory finally notched their first win of the new campaign, overcoming Glory 2-0 in Perth.
After a goal-less first half, Besart Berisha and Leroy George scored goals in an 11-minute burst which ultimately decided the contest.
Glory were without Diego Castro and Adam Taggart, but did hand a debut to 16-year-old Jacob Italiano, who played the full 90 minutes.
