Hyundai Ins and Outs – Round 15

Melbourne City’s new signing, Spain international Markel Susaeta, has been named in their squad to face Newcastle Jets on Saturday.

Referee Kate Jacewicz takes the whistle for the first time in the Hyundai A-League at AAMI Park as Harrison Delbridge returns to Erick Mombaerts’ group after a suspension.

City’s opponents, Newcastle Jets, are missing injured goalkeeper Glen Moss, who is out for four to six weeks with a calf injury.  Interim coach Craig Deans names three Petratos’ in their roster – Dimi and Kosta are joined by brother Maki.

Marco Kurz may be gone but captain Ola Toivonen returns for Melbourne Victory as Carlos Salvachua oversees his first match at head coach in the Original Rivalry against Adelaide United on Friday. Mirko Boland has recovered from injury to join the Reds squad.

Brisbane Roar captain Tom Aldred serves a suspension, while David Ball is back as Wellington Phoenix search for a club record 10-matches undefeated when they travel to Queensland.

Panagiotis Kone, Josh Risdon and Ersum Gulum are all in contention for Western United’s match with Central Coast Mariners. Alen Stajcic is missing Sammy Silvera, who is on trial at Los Angeles FC.

Spanish midfielder Juande makes a comeback for Perth Glory as Tony Popovic returns to Western Sydney on Sunday. Markus Babbel has called Jordan O’Doherty and Bruce Kamau back into his match-day squad.
