Hyundai Ins and Outs: Brisbane Roar v Adelaide United

The Hyundai A-League regular season comes to an end with Round 27 this week, with the action getting underway in the ANZAC Day clash between Brisbane Roar and Adelaide United at Suncorp Stadium.

For Roar the match brings a case of ‘out with the old, in with the new’.

There will be emotional goodbyes to fan favourites Matt McKay and Henrique, who are both parting company with the club after this game, while there will also be a warm welcome for new club coach Robbie Fowler.

The popular Brazilian forward is set to miss out with a groin injury, but McKay will be joined in the matchday squad by returning trio Luke Devere, Jacob Pepper and Eric Bautheac.

Adelaide United travel to Queensland still very much in the hunt for a fourth-place finish and the home Elimination Final that comes with it.

They will be pleased to welcome back young forward Apostolos Stamatelopoulos from suspension after he scored twice and was subsequently red-carded in Round 24’s 3-1 win over Wellington Phoenix.

Check out all the squad news for both clubs ahead of Thursday afternoon’s clash at Suncorp Stadium.
