Friend will become foe on Friday night when Wellington Phoenix guest player, Fred, faces his former club, Melbourne Victory, at Westpac Stadium in round 13 of the Hyundai A-League. The last time that Fred played for Melbourne Victory was at the Telstra Dome in their historic 6-0 defeat of Adelaide United in the Hyundai A-League 2007 Grand Final.
After his surprise return from surgery, Queensland Roar captain Craig Moore will be looking to lead his team to three-points against Sydney FC at the Sydney Football Stadium on Friday night. The Roar haven-t lost a game away all season, but Sydney FC will be looking to break their two game losing streak with a home victory.
The Central Coast Mariners know that a win will keep them in the top four when they travel to Western Australia for their match against Perth Glory on Saturday night, whilst the Newcastle Jets will be without Joel Griffiths and Mark Milligan through suspension when they host Adelaide United at EnergyAustralia Stadium on Sunday evening.

Starting with a 2-0 away win by the Central Coast Mariners over the Melbourne Victory in Round 13 2005/06, the Mariners embarked on a 12-match undefeated run which ultimately took them to the 2006 Grand Final.
