Hyundai A-League pre-season friendly guide

There are just six weeks to go until the start of the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 season!

Here’s a guide to your club’s upcoming pre-season fixtures.

Adelaide United

Brisbane Roar

The Roar will play a game against the Chinese under-22 national team at Cbus Super Stadium on Monday, August 28.

John Aloisi’s men then meet Melbourne Victory at Morshead Park in Ballarat on Friday September 1.

Central Coast Mariners

The Mariners will host Wellington Phoenix in Gosford on Wednesday September 13.

Melbourne City

Warren Joyce will line his side up against Western Sydney Wanderers at McEwen Reserve, Shepparton on Friday September 22.

Melbourne City play host to Brisbane Roar in the opening round.

Melbourne Victory

The Big V meet Brisbane Roar at Morshead Park in Ballarat on Friday September 1.

Newcastle Jets

The Jets head to the capital next week to take on Canberra Olympic at Deakin Stadium on August 29.

They’ll play defending Hyundai A-League champions Sydney FC at Wanderers Oval, Broadmeadow on Saturday September 9.

Ernie Merrick will then meet his former side when the Jets play the Wellington Phoenix at Cessnock on Saturday September 16.

Perth Glory

Glory head to Dalmatinac Park to meet Cockburn City Soccer Club on Wednesday August 30.

Sydney FC

Graham Arnold takes his side to Wanderers Oval, Broadmeadow on Saturday September 9 to play Newcastle.

Wellington Phoenix

The Phoenix will take on a Capital Football Select XI at Weka Park, Kapiti on Saturday September 2.

They’ll then embark on a tour of New South Wales with friendlies against an NPL side on September 10, the Central Coast Mariners in Gosford on September 13 and the Newcastle Jets in Cessnock on September 16.

Paracki

Upon their return home, the Phoenix will wrap their pre-season with two games against National League side Team Wellington on September 23 and 30.

Western Sydney Wanderers

The Wanderers will meet Melbourne City at McEwen Reserve, Shepparton on Friday September 22.
