With just hours before the Hyundai A-League Season 2014/14 kicks off, the good news keeps coming with three more clubs this week surpassing their overall membership totals for last season and one other club seeing a 14% increase from last week.
Adelaide United (6517),Western Sydney Wanderers FC (17,157) and Wellington Phoenix (3611) have surged past last season’s figures, with the overall tally across the 10 clubs now at just over 96,000.
And Central coast was a big mover this week with a 14% increase from last week.

Adelaide, the Wanderers and Wellington join champions Brisbane Roar (11,061) and Melbourne City (8927) as the five clubs to have already gone past their final figures from last year.
They should be joined soon by Sydney FC (10,601), who are just are just a couple of hundred memberships short of their mark from 2013/14.
Melbourne Victory continues to lead the way and have cracked the 21,000 barrier ahead of their season-opener against the Wanderers on Friday night.
At last count the Victory’s mark was an impressive 21,141.
The Hyundai A-League season is just a day away from starting so there’s no better time to get a membership to the club you want to support.
