Hyundai A-League goal of the round contenders: Round 7

There may have been only four games over the weekend but there was no shortage of cracking strikes across Round 7 of the Hyundai A-League.

With Wanderers and Phoenix postponed, we’ve chosen three of the best goals from the remaining fixtures but it’s up to you to decide which was the pick of the bunch.

Daniel Adlung (Reds v Mariners)

Have we seen a sweeter hit this season?

After Central Coast failed to fully clear an Isaias cross, Adlung thumped a first-time bullet from distance which arrowed into the top corner.

Ryan Kitto (Reds v Mariners)

Substitute Mark Ochieng inventively lobbed the ball back into the danger area with Kitto unleashing a superbly-timed volley which found the bottom corner.

Dimitri Petratos (Jets v Sydney FC)

In a match played in awful conditions, Petratos found space out wide before firing a speculative effort from distance which swerved wickedly as it evaded Sydney keeper Andrew Redmayne.
