Hyundai A-League goal of the round contenders: Round 27

An astonishing 24 goals were scored across the five games over the weekend as the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 regular season ended with a bang.

And we were treated to some exceptional strikes. But which was the best goal from Round 27?

It wasn’t easy to narrow it down but we’ve come up with three strikes to choose from and it’s up to you to decide the Goal of the Round.

BRUNO FORNAROLI (City v Phoenix)

From an incredibly tight angle to the left of the Phoenix box, Fornaroli unleashes a superb curling effort which went in off the far post.

A stunning goal from the Uruguayan!

BABA DIAWARA (Reds v Wanderers)

A simple but spectacular goal for the striker.

Jordan Elsey’s sublime long-ball forward exposed the Wanderers’ high defensive line, with Diawara getting on the end of it and producing a classy finish with the outside of his boot into the top corner.

DANIEL ADLUNG (Reds v Wanderers)

Another howitzer from the German midfielder.

Nathan Konstandopoulos dribbles past three defenders before his finish is blocked, but the ricochet breaks for Adlung to fire off his left and into the top corner from the edge of the area.
