Pato Rodriguez (Jets v Mariners)

What a way to endear yourself to your new fans!

The Argentine pounced on a loose ball from Mariners midfielder Jacob Melling and surged into the area, coolly slotting past the onrushing Ben Kennedy.

Ross McCormack (City v Glory)

Youngster Daniel Arzani won a free-kick right on the edge of the box and McCormack produced a gem of a shot, curling it up and over the wall and just inside the near post.

The delightful strike was McCormack’s fourth free-kick of the season, a new Hyundai A-League record.

Kosta Barbarouses (Victory v Phoenix)

Playing a man down, Barbarouses found space down the right flank and weaved his way past Tom Doyle before firing a powerful strike past Lewis Italiano from a tight angle.

A super effort from the Kiwi against his former club.
