Ross McCormack (Melbourne City)
The City striker demonstrated his superb set-piece ability with a powerful free-kick from more than 30-yards out to win the game against Wellington Phoenix.
Vince Lia (Adelaide United)
He doesn’t score many but when he does, Lia’s goals are often howitzer. While his first was good, his second in the 2-2 draw with Melbourne Victory was top-shelf!
Dimitri Petratos (Newcastle Jets)
Petratos is making quite a habit of scoring spectacular, long-range goals and his strike against Brisbane Roar – which handed the Jets a 2-1 win – certainly fits into that category.
