Sydney FC’s marquee Brazilian striker Bobo has taken out the Round 13 Hyundai A-League goal of the week, as voted by the fans.
The in-form attacker scored a second-half hat-trick – his second treble in as many games – in the Sky Blues’ 6-0 demolition of Perth Glory on Saturday night.
Playmaking Pole Adrian Mierzejewski made a classy no-look pass in behind Glory’s defence, with Bobo doing the rest as he flicked the ball up and volleyed it inside the far post from a seemingly impossible angle.
Bobo’s stunner took out the vote, with 51.2% of the fans believing his strike was the round’s best.
Melbourne Victory winger Kosta Barbarouses came in second with 31.8% for his classy finish in the win over the Jets after being set up by Jason Geria.
And Bobo’s Sky Blues teammate Alex Brosque was third best, with his pinpoint header amassing 17% of the final vote.
