Adelaide United’s German star Daniel Adlung has claimed the Hyundai A-League Goal of the Week for Round 7 following his long-range missile against the Mariners.
The midfielder’s audacious strike sparked the Reds’ come-from-behind 2-1 win over Central Coast on Thursday night.
And what a hit it was!
After Central Coast failed to fully clear an Isaias cross, Adlung thumped a first-time bullet from distance which arrowed into the top corner.
Surely it's #AUFC at 1⃣ and 2⃣? 😎 #ForeverUnited

The ball flashed into the back of the net before Mariners keeper Ben Kennedy had time to react.
It was Adlung’s first goal in the A-League and second for the Reds after netting another spectacular strike in his side’s FFA Cup Semi-Final win over Western Sydney Wanderers.
The German’s goal took home 55% of the public vote, edging out Newcastle’s Dimi Petratos whose fizzing strike against Sydney FC earned 42% of the total votes.
