There’s a saying in football that you can’t coach speed. And these Hyundai A-League stars have some serious wheels about them!
* Top 5 Goalkeepers in the Hyundai A-League
* Top 5 Defenders in the Hyundai A-League
* Top 5 Midfielders in the Hyundai A-League
* Top 5 Strikers in the Hyundai A-League
5. Connor Pain – Central Coast Mariners – 62 OVR 89 PAC
Connor Pain’s been given a boost of two overall points this time around, and he’s kept his 89 pace!
The second fastest left-winger in the Hyundai A-League, and the fifth overall, he’s going to make the wing a tough place for anyone playing the Mariners this season.
4. Mitch Austin – Melbourne Victory – 62 OVR 90 PAC
He’s quick. He’s very quick.
But Mitch Austin’s rating has taken a hit this year, down two points overall, and one on his pace.
He’s still do a job on the left wing though; the Melbourne Victory man is bigger and stronger than his nearest competitor in Connor Pain, and with a four-star rating on his weak foot, and three star skills, he’ll be more than a handy winger at Hyundai A-League level.
3. Bruce Kamau – Melbourne City – 65 OVR 90 PAC
The best rated of all our quick wingers.
At 65 overall, Bruce Kamau is the only silver rated player in our top five players with pace.
His passing and dribbling stats are the best of the five wingers, and his finishing is just second to Connor Pain.
At 22, there’s room for the Kenyan-born youngster to grow.
Would make a handy signing for any Hyundai A-League Ultimate Team or Career Mode wing.
2. Kwabena Appiah – Central Coast Mariners – 60 OVR 91 PAC
This one shouldn’t be a shock to anyone – Kwabena Appiah has been at 91 pace since FIFA 13!
Another one of the Mariners’ pacy trifecta, he’s been given a boost from a 57 overall last year to a 60.
With Pain on one wing, and Appiah on the other, the Mariners will be sure to cause problems on the flanks.
1. Trent Buhagiar – Central Coast Mariners – 61 OVR 91 PAC
The teenager makes his debut in the FIFA Ultimate Team game in FIFA 18, and what an entrance!
With his career mode stats last year, he was always going to be pacy.
At 91 Pace, 61 Overall, and high workrates in both attack and defence, he just pips Appiah as the quickest player in the Hyundai A-League.
FIFA 18 will be released worldwide on Friday 29 September, while those who pre-order the Ronaldo or Icon editions through easports.com/FIFA18 can receive 3 Days Early Access.
