The Hyundai A-League 2017/18 Season draw announced on Wednesday had plenty of highlights, including several ‘themed’ rounds.

Remembrance Round, Play Football Round, Female Football Week and Harmony Round were all announced as part of the fixtures for the new season.
Remembrance Round
Round 6 of the Hyundai A-League will be devoted to remembering and acknowledging the sacrifices made by service men and women past and present during times of war.
Remembrance Round was a feature of last season and will again be observed at all five Hyundai A-League matches over the weekend of November 10-12.
Matches: Mariners v Sydney FC – Central Coast Stadium (Friday night), Adelaide v Jets – Coopers Stadium (Saturday), Victory v Roar – Etihad Stadium (Saturday night), Phoenix v Glory – Westpac Stadium (Sunday), City v Wanderers – AAMI Park (Sunday night).
Play Football Round
The Hyundai A-League will celebrate Play Football Round in week 19 of the season.
The round – played on the weekend of February 2-4) is used to promote football registrations around Australia for the upcoming grassroots season.
Matches : Sydney FC v Phoenix – Allianz Stadium (Friday night), Jets v Victory – McDonald Jones Stadium (Saturday), Adelaide v Glory – Coopers Stadium (Saturday night), Mariners v Wanderers – Central Coast Stadium (Sunday), Roar v City – Suncorp Stadium (Sunday night).
Female Football Round
The Split Round in Round 22 will also celebrate women in football and the extensive impact they play at all levels of the game, to coincide with Female Football Week.
A key objective of Female Football Week is to drive female participation, while also acknowledging the large number of women who are currently actively involved in the game in any capacity.

Harmony Round
Harmony Round will take place during round 24 of the 2017/18 Season, to align with Harmony Day on March 21.
Harmony Round showcases cultural diversity and how multiculturalism can enrich football in Australia, with Hyundai A-League clubs hosting matches to celebrate the diversity among players, spectators, supporters and partners.
