The Hyundai A-League 2018/19 Season might still be three months away but a couple of clubs went at it on Wednesday with some witty banter on Twitter.
Central Coast Mariners and Brisbane Roar – who incidentally also meet in the opening round of the new season – were the two clubs who went back and forth.
With the banter flying on social media, Adelaide United also chipped in as the official clubs’ official accounts bought into an entertaining war of words.
Here’s how it all unfolded.
