Perth Glory vs Sydney FC

Friday, 9:00pm (AEDT)

This match has classic written all over it.

Tony Popovic’s Glory are unbeaten and sit atop the Hyundai A-League ladder, a space usually reserved for their Sky Blue opponents in recent seasons.

Steve Corica’s men bounced back into form with a comfortable Sydney Derby victory and sit in third spot heading into the clash at nib Stadium.

Glory have recorded back-to-back clean sheets so Sydney’s front duo of Adam Le Fondre and Alex Brosque will need to be at their best if they want to return across the Nullarbor with all three points.

Wellington Phoenix vs Brisbane Roar

Saturday, 5:35pm (AEDT)

The Nix are flying high after back-to-back wins and will be looking to consolidate their spot in the top six when they welcome the Roar to Westpac Stadium.

The Roar meanwhile can’t seem to take a trick, languishing in ninth position on the Hyundai A-League ladder with a solitary win to their name.

Despite scoring two goals in the first half against Victory last week they ended up losing 4-2, a result that leaves them five points outside the top six.

How to watch: Tune in to FOX SPORTS 505 to see what happens at Westpac Stadium from 5:30pm (AEDT).

Melbourne City vs Melbourne Victory

Saturday, 7:50pm (AEDT)

This clash needs no introduction.

The Christmas Melbourne Derby is a special fixture that has thrown up some amazing results in years gone by – injury-time winners by Archie Thompson and Erik Paartalu, just to name a few.

This particular version is dominated by storylines heading into it, most notably Victory’s six-game winning streak.

City meanwhile have shrugged off the absence of star man Bruno Fornaroli to record an impressive 2-0 way win over Adelaide United.

One thing is certain however, sparks will fly.

How to watch: Tune in to FOX SPORTS 505 or watch the Derby rematch LIVE and FREE on 10 Boss or tenplay, with kick off at 7.50pm (AEDT). You can also stream it live on the MyFootball Live App.

Central Coast Mariners vs Newcastle Jets

Sunday, 5:00pm (AEDT)

From one derby to another, the F3 variety is jam-packed with history as these two rivals’ bitter rivalry stretches back over a decade.

Both sides have made slow starts to their Hyundai A-League campaigns, most notably the Mariners who sit winless at the foot of the ladder.

Newcastle meanwhile played well despite going down to Glory 2-0 last week and will be confident of heading to Gosford, a venue in which they have scored 13 goals in their past two visits.

How to watch: Kick back and enjoy the tussle on FOX SPORTS 505 from 4:30pm (AEDT) or tune in on the MyFootball Live App.

Adelaide United vs Western Sydney Wanderers

Wednesday, 7.50pm (AEDT)

Wrapping things up on Boxing Day will be two familiar foes.

The 2016 Grand Finalists reconvene in the City of Churches under pressure from fans following some disappointing results.

Wanderers again went down in the Sydney Derby while the Reds have suffered consecutive losses at the hands of the two Melbourne clubs.

How to watch: See how Round 9 finishes on FOX SPORTS 505 from 7:30pm (AEDT) or tune in on the MyFootball Live App.
