How to watch FFA Cup 2019 Round of 32 Match Day 2

Enter the giants. After a drama-filled Match Day 1 of the sublime and the bizarre, goals galore and nail-biting penalty shootouts, it is time for two Hyundai A-League giants to join the party.

Central Coast Mariners were revitalised by the hiring of Alen Stajcic over the tail end of the 2018/19 season. After back-to-back Hyundai A-League wooden spoons, the Gosford boys are desperate to put their recent past behind them and write some new history.

RECAP: 26 goals and endless drama on opening night

Despite reaching an Elimination Final, it was all change in the Melbourne City dugout as well. City only scored 39 league goals last season (the three teams below them scored more) and new attack-minded head coach Erick Mombaerts is out to install the new tactical principles that will get the goals flowing.

Both of those heavyweights-under-new-management face perilous away trips on Wednesday night.

Mariners hop on the bus to travel 95km to Maitland, where the little club in the lower Hunter coal fields taste their first FFA Cup Round of 32 action. City go to 2018 NPL Champions Campbelltown City, who are ripe to take advantage of any teething problems.
