The penultimate Matchweek of the 2020/21 A-League campaign gets underway on Thursday, May 27 with eight games on the agenda, beginning with a clash between Macarthur FC and Central Coast Mariners.
The two teams locked on 36 points go head-to-head for the third time this season at Campbelltown Stadium before Western United host Melbourne Victory on Friday night. The Victorian Government’s recently announced seven-day lockdown led to the decision to play the Battle of the Bridge behind closed doors at AAMI Park.
Melbourne City v Newcastle Jets has been postponed from Saturday afternoon, and a decision on Monday’s match between Western United FC and Macarthur FC will be made in the next 48 hours.
