How to watch: A-League Matchweek 20

Melbourne City begin Matchweek 20 six points clear at the top of the table, as the eight congested sides between second and ninth continue to battle for ascendancy in the Finals Series standings.

Just six points separate second from ninth leading into the opening fixture of Matchweek 19: Melbourne Victory v Macarthur FC on Thursday, May 6.

Should the Bulls fall to Victory at AAMI Park, the ninth-placed Wellington Phoenix could bump Macarthur out of the top six with a win over fourth-placed Adelaide United at Coopers Stadium on Friday night.

Newcastle host Sydney FC in the first game of two on Saturday, May 8 before Western Sydney Wanderers and Western United – two teams locked on 28 points apiece – go head-to-head at Bankwest Stadium.

Sunday, May 9 offers up a contest between the surging Brisbane Roar and Melbourne City, and a match-up between 10th and 11th when Perth Glory host Victory at HBF Park.

Perth will return to action on May 12 against Western United after Brisbane host Central Coast Mariners at Moreton Daily Stadium, with the two Wednesday-night fixtures capping off the action of Matchweek 19.
