How to watch A-League Matchweek 12

Melbourne City go in search of a third straight win when they kickstart Matchweek 12 against Macarthur FC on Friday, while Melbourne Victory seek to bounce back in their Original Rivalry clash with Adelaide on Saturday.

The clubs from the Victorian capital have dealt with contrasting fortunes in recent weeks as City look to build on their jaw-dropping 6-0 Melbourne Derby triumph when they face the Bulls, and the Navy Blue bid to stop the rot against their old nemesis, the Reds, at Marvel Stadium.

Following a 2-0 win over Western United, defending Premiers Sydney FC loom ominously behind the A-League’s top six and Steve Corica’s side aim to break into the finals spots against Newcastle Jets, live on ABC TV, at 5pm on Saturday ahead of the Victory’s evening clash against the Reds.

Sunday sees another blockbuster double-header, with the ladder-leading Central Coast Mariners hosting a Perth Glory side trying to snap a run of back-to-back losses, before Mark Rudan’s ninth-placed Green and Black have the chance to close the gap when they welcome the sixth-placed Brisbane Roar to AAMI Park.

The round wraps up on Monday night with third-in-the-ladder Western Sydney Wanderers squaring off against on-the-rise Wellington Phoenix, with both sides coming off the back of impressive wins in Matchweek 11.
