Brisbane Roar
Michael Theo 7: Denied Haliti in extra time brilliantly. Other than that, solid and capable.
Matt Smith 7: Solid without being spectacular and marshalled his troops well.
Jade North 7: Hands full with Santalab and Co but battled manfully
Shane Stefanutto 6: Like North had his hands full with the high pressing game of the opposition. But kept it tight on the left.
Ivan Franjic 7: Hit the bar in the first half, and had a running battle with D-Apuzzo. Often had his forward runs blocked but was always full of enthusiasm as he pushed forward later in the game.
Liam Miller 5: Couldn-t get into the game and made little impact. Subbed off late for Lustica.
Matt McKay 6: Battled hard in the centre of park but found it tough till La Rocca was moved into defence.
Luke Brattan 5: Pegged back and unable to dominate the game from midfield. Subbed off with cramp just before the 90.
Thomas Broich 7: Couldn-t find a way past the red and black wall of defenders but did have some excellent long-range shots that just went wide. Supplied Berisha with the set piece for the goal.
Besart Berisha 7: Shackled in the first half and squandered three good chances in the second half. But scored the equaliser with trademark aplomb.
Dimi Petratos 5: Failed to make much impact on the right wing. Subbed off for Henrique
SUBS
Henrique 7: Missed a snap shot shortly after coming on but was his trademark slippery best to score the winner in the second period of extra time.
Steven Lustica 6: Subbed on for Miller. Played his part in the win without being spectacular.
James Donachie 7: Came on in the final minutes of regular time. Set up Henrique for the second goal.
Western Sydney Wanderers
Ante Covic 7: Stepped up to deny Franjic late on. But didn-t dominate on the Berisha cross for the equalising goal.
Adam D-Apuzzo 6: Yellow card just before the break and was solid throughout.
Nikolai Topor-Stanley 7: Solid as a rock alongside Spiranovic till he was subbed off with a knee injury after an hour.
Matthew Spiranovic 9: Cool and composed against an ever-present threat of Berisha and Co. And nailed his header for Wanderers- and his first goal before a goal-saving block on Berisha
Jerome Polenz 7: Dominated the right side but rarely got forward like he usually does.
Mateo Poljak 8: Another in red and black who worked tirelessly in the centre of the park.
Iacoppo La Rocca 9: Worked incredibly hard to shutdown Roar-s central channel and helped push Wanderers forward. Played central defence for the last 30 minutes. Wanderers missed him in the engine room when he moved back.
Mark Bridge 7: Moved freely and worked hard but rarely threatened in front of goal.
Brendan Santalab 8: Real nuisance with his defensive pressure. Early yellow card. Subbed off with 20 mins to go for Juric.
Shinji Ono 8: Gave everything and showed touches of class. Subbed off late in regular time.
Youssouf Hersi 7: Another striker to work his socks off to pressure Roar and gave his customary dangerous performance in the front third.
SUBS
Aaron Mooy 6: Came on after 62 minutes for the injured captain Topor-Stanley. Tried hard to ignite the Wanderers. Yellow carded for a late challenge on Berisha.
Tomi Juric 6: Late substitute. Came on for Santalab and worked hard as Roar pressed but had few chances to impress.
Labinot Haliti 6: Came on for Ono on 85 minutes. Missed a good chance in extra time.
