Football Federation Australia (FFA) today confirmed a Hyundai A-League 2015 Grand Final Live Site, presented by Fox Sports, will be held in the AAMI Park precinct.
Fans unable to get a ticket to the match will be able to enjoy a carnival atmosphere on Sunday with FFA, Fox Sports, AAMI Park and the Victorian Government hosting the “Live Site” adjacent to the stadium on Gosch’s Paddock.
“The Hyundai A-League 2015 Grand Final will have an amazing atmosphere for the lucky 30,000 fans inside AAMI Park with the two biggest clubs from the two biggest cities fighting for the right to be crowned 2015 Champions,” said FFA CEO David Gallop.
“In conjunction with Fox Sports, the Victorian Government and AAMI Park we are happy to announce that we will be hosting a Grand Final Live Site in the stadium precinct for fans who are unable to secure a ticket to the Grand Final.”
The Hyundai A-League 2015 Grand Final Live Site, presented by Fox Sports, will start at 1pm with activities for the kids and a live broadcast of the match on a big screen. Fans will be able to purchase food and drinks or bring their own picnic but the Live Site will be a strictly No Alcohol Zone.
On Saturday afternoon, Melbourne Victory and Sydney FC fans will also get an opportunity to get up close and personal with their heroes at the Grand Final Fan Day at Birrarung Marr, adjacent to Federation Square.
Saturday’s Grand Final Fan Day will take place from 1pm to 4pm with Melbourne Victory players in attendance from 1pm to 1.45pm and Sydney FC players taking the stage from 2.15pm to 3pm.
