Adelaide United have announced striker Pablo Sánchez, who helped seal the club’s maiden Championship triumph with a goal off the bench, will depart the club after two years of service.
After joining Adelaide United in 2014, Pablo Sánchez spent two successful seasons with the Reds, winning three trophies and playing a significant role in each piece of silverware the Club claimed.
The Spaniard played 57 matches for United, scoring 19 goals. In the 2015/16 season he equalled the most goals scored as a substitute in one Hyundai A-League season with seven.

Speaking on leaving the club, Pablo Sánchez said: “My time at Adelaide United was very good, but my contract is up and it is time to move on.
“Last season we won the FFA Cup in my first year at United and it was an amazing year because I also won the Golden Boot.
“This season just passed was fantastic as well for how we came back from a slow start and then we won the Premiership and the Championship.
“The way we won this season made it more important because we stayed together and worked very hard in the difficult times and got the rewards for our sacrifice.
“Scoring in the Grand Final was the icing on the cake for me and I will always remember this moment.
“It was one of the most important moments in my life alongside my wedding and the birth of my son.”
