Impressive teen makes ‘easy decision’ to commit future to Brisbane Roar

Grace Kuilamu | Post-Match Interview | Brisbane Roar v Wellington Phoenix

Teenage forward Grace Kuilamu has signed a contract extension at Brisbane Roar that will keep the 17-year-old at the club until the end of the 2025-26 Ninja A-League season.

Kuilamu has impressed in her first full season in the competition after an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury cut her 2023-24 campaign short.

The young attacker has scored five goals this season and has not looked out of place in the Ninja A-League; her latest goal for the Roar was the decisive moment in her side’s 1-0 win over Wellington Phoenix on Sunday evening.

“It has been a great season thus far, especially as I have recently returned from my ACL rehab, and I’m looking forward to growing even further in the club’s environment.

“It was definitely an easy decision to extend my contract, and I’m excited to continue representing Roar for the 2025-26 season.”
