Perth Glory and their Serbian player Milan Smiljanic have agreed a mutual termination of the midfielder’s contract, the club stated on Wednesday night.
Club CEO Peter Filopoulos said in a statement: “Milan would like to explore some opportunities in Asia and the club will not stand in his way and wish him the best for his next football chapter”.

Smiljanic, 30, formerly of Belgrade’s FK Partizan and La Liga outfit Espanyol, played 15 games for Glory this season, starting 10 of them.
His Opta Data stats were:

- ball recoveries 56
- shooting accuracy 29%
Glory are at home on Saturday night to rivals Brisbane Roar.
