Perth Glory striker Adam Taggart admitted complacency was a factor in his side’s second loss of the season to Central Coast Mariners on Saturday.
Perth were overwhelmed by an energised Mariners at the start of the second half as the hosts broke the game open with two goals in the space of five minutes.

“I think we maybe underestimated them a little bit. They sort of seem to be our bogey side of the year,” Taggart told Fox Sports.
“It wasn’t acceptable from any of us today. All of us need to be better.
“Not just chances, not just conceding goals but all over the park we need to be better.”
Defeat for the second time at Central Coast Stadium and an opening round draw leaves Kenny Lowe’s side with just a solitary point from their three meetings with the competition’s second-bottom side.
It might have been different had Taggart turned a “massive” first-half chance into an empty net.
“I’ll put my hand up. I need to take that chance,” the in-form 23-year-old said.
“There was a slight bobble but there’s no excuse, I should be putting them away.
“It’s disappointing for myself and I’ve got to be better.”
