Perth Glory are beginning to find their attacking nous in front of goal, says Tony Popovic.
Popovic’s side hammered NPL Western Australia outfit Inglewood United 7-0 last night with Brendan Santalab striking a 33-minute hat-trick.

Diego Castro and Fabio Ferreira were also in red-hot form as Glory put their member federation opponents to the sword.

The Glory boss said it was clear his players are beginning to hit their stride going forward.
“They were focused, they tried to implement what we’ve been working on with the ball,” he told Perth Glory’s official website after the match.
“They scored some nice goals, which is good to see.
“The more the players are on the pitch together you get to know each other and the combinations become more natural.”
Glory’s seven goal win also featured a first taste of senior football for a host of academy products including Nic McDonald, Jordan Abrahams, Cameron McLean and Jayden Seldon.
Popovic said he was pleased with the performance of the Glory youngsters, and also provided a fitness update for injured captain Andy Keogh, who injured his ankle ligaments in training last month.
“With seven odd weeks to go, I think we’re on track.
“We’re getting more bodies back fit and available. Soon we should have a full complement of players.
“Andy [Keogh] is not too far away as well. It will give us time to get everyone in sync and ready for that first game.”
