Glory keeper off to Denmark

Perth Glory FC have confirmed reserve goal keeper Jack Duncan has signed with Danish club Randers FC on a two year deal.

Duncan played a host of pre-season games in January with Randers and did enough to impress the Scandinavian coaching staff.

22-year old Duncan, who has represented Australia at U-20 and U-23 level, says he’s excited about his European adventure.

“It’s a really exciting time for me. I feel over the last 5 years in the A-League I have really developed and been lucky to now have an opportunity to further that development overseas. The Danish league is quite strong and I feel that this move will help me grow as a player,” Duncan said.

“I would like to thank not just the coaching staff but everyone involved in Perth Glory, for making my time in Perth a very enjoyable one.

On the pitch, I was able to start seven games for the club and get my experience playing first team football which I will always remember.”

Duncan is due to fly to Denmark in early June and subject to a medical will begin his pre-season campaign in July.

Perth Glory FC is due to start its pre-season training in mid-June before playing its first Westfield FFA Cup at the end of July.
