Perth Glory have confirmed that defender Jason Davidson has left the club to take up a deal with Korean side Ulsan Hyundai.
Davidson, who had earlier this year signed a one-year extension with Glory, departs the Hyundai A-League premiers with immediate effect.

It’s understood the K-League club paid an undisclosed fee for the 27-year-old left-back.

“In football when opportunities arise like this you need to grab them with both hands,” Davidson said in an article on The World Game website.
“Ulsan are a big club and are everything that Perth – having qualified for the (AFC) Champions League – are striving to follow.
“Ulsan are up there fighting for the title and…chasing a place in the last eight of the ACL.
“To be able to be a part of something like that…really attracted me.”
The loss of the 22-cap Caltex Socceroo is a blow for Glory after he enjoyed a sensational first season for the club under Tony Popovic.

Playing in a left wing-back role, Davidson featured in 28 games for the club, scoring two goals and six assists.
While acknowledging Davidson’s contribution last term, Perth Glory CEO Tony Pignata noted that it was the player’s decision to move on.
“As a club, we insisted at all times that Jason was a required player but he invoked a clause in his contract that allowed him to be transferred,” Pignata said on Glory’s website.
