At just 22, Westfield Matildas defender Alanna Kennedy has the world at her feet.
With the national team thriving on the international stage and the possibility of a 2023 FIFA World Cup in Australia, there’s never been a better time to be involved with the Westfield Matildas.

►The defender was born in Campbelltown and made her Westfield W-League debut for Sydney FC as a 16-year-old in the 2010/11 season.
►Kennedy has played for four clubs in the Westfield W-League including Sydney FC (current), Newcastle Jets, Western Sydney Wanderers and Perth Glory.
►She’s won a title in both the Westfield W-League (Sydney FC 2012/13) and the National Women’s Soccer League (Western New York Flash 2016).
►She currently plays in the USA with Orlando Pride and plays alongside fellow Westfield Matilda Steph Catley, USA international Alex Morgan and Brazilian superstar Marta.
►Despite her age, Kennedy has already amassed an impressive 55 caps for the national team. She’s scored three goals in the green and gold.
