The German wasted no time at all slotting seamlessly into the Hyundai A-League, quickly becoming one of the competition-s most dangerous players with his sublime footwork, pinpoint crosses and endless energy. With six goals and 14 assists, including two in the Grand Final, Broich was a worthy winner of Brisbane Roar-s prestigious Gary Wilkins Award for Player of the Year in the 2010/11 season.
